Hello, spring! Hi, everyone! I am finally back from a very long break from all things blogging and taking pictures. Now that I am able to find some time for this little piece of me, my tiny unpretentious blog, I am even more inspired to share with you my favorite recipes, books/ movies/ worth reading/watching, thoughts on finding the true inner self and self-confidence. You’ll join me on my short trips around the globe or strolls around Warsaw, see my personal style improvement and whatever else…
I’ve also launched Russian language on my blog hoping my Mum and friends will stop by more often. Even though English has obviously become a great means of connection with people around the globe, still some stuff just cannot be described in any language but your native.
I woke up quite early if speaking of any Sunday morning in my life. More than that I made A. to do the same. And by 10:30 we were already standing inside some cafe ordering coffee and orange juice to go. It would be a crime to stay inside and sip our ritual morning drinks while the sun was shining so bright and there was no even a cloud in the sky. Amazing, isn’t it? It’s so amazing to do something so untypical of you, especially on a Sunday morning. Sunday does magic if you clear up your mind and just enjoy yourself forgetting never-ending to-do list that is waiting for you starting from Monday.
The other so untypical thing for me was to ask A. to do some pictures of me, of my outfit to be exact. I was even going to post those pictures in my first blog post after a break. I thought why not sharing with you from time to time how my wardrobe transformation was going on. Yes, eventually I’ve decided to get my hands on my personal style
or the lack of it and shape it carefully. I’ve read hundreds of articles, watched hundreds of videos about how to create a capsule wardrobe. So, this is what I am going to do now. Feel free to join me in this little adventure if this topic appeals to you at the moment.
Last Sunday I got my favorite pair of Mom jeans out of the closet for the first spring ride. Apparently it was a good idea. As I never feel like dressing up too light on the first enormously warm spring days after winter season. 1/8 length of the jeans and high waist is the best option possible to boost myself into spring mode. Still I am working on my body shape after almost more than half a year without doing any sports in my life. Yes, these jeans feel just right. I also like their retro touch they give to the whole outfit. I paired Mom jeans with a plain white loose fit T-shirt, dark green bomber and stunning textured silver leather boots I bought on winter sale. What do you think of this look? What’s missing or anything too much? Any tips are welcome.
What else am I up to? A few exciting trips are coming up soon which I cannot wait. I will certainly tell you in more details later. Last year we didn’t travel anywhere except for two short trips to Russia to see my Mum. Also I am studying food photography with lots of practicing ahead. It feels exciting not less. Slowly but steadily I am pacing towards my dream. We’ll see what life has to offer me on the way. I am trying to encourage you to at least start doing something about your crazy ideas which have been in your head for a while and you are afraid to let them in. Shake your steady life, take some action!
I’ve come to feel and realize recently that life is so short and time tic toes so quickly. And if I don’t start doing what I really want to do, I will regret about my inertness later. But timing will not be right back then. What do I have to lose anyway? My fears? If so, I will gladly get rid of them. Have you already taken your first steps to accomplish your old dreams? What stops you from doing your thing?
