If you’ve been attracted by the title “Christmas Dinner Ideas: Roasted Chicken With Rosemary”, then you might be a busy human-being stuck in “the last week before Christmas” chaos. And maybe you are a little bit tired of Christmas preparations already. Though you’ve promised yourself to take it easy this year. But no… Perfectionism is your second name. Christmas shopping with all these attractive bright shopping windows trapped you. Again.
Roasted chicken sounds yummy and easy. Just like in childhood. It also sounds “no trouble”. You just rub the chicken with aromatic herbs and salt, put it in the heated oven and forget about it for an hour. One hour later your dinner is ready. It looks amazing, tastes amazing.
The recipe is an always winning idea for the laziest busiest guys ever. Just take care of a few simple side dishes. For example, sauerkraut and roasted or cooked potatoes. Add a cranberry/ cherry sauce or simply fresh frozen cranberries, pieces of lemon. And voilà! Your festive dinner is ready.
By the way, I am planning to make this roasted chicken with rosemary for Christmas dinner this year. In our family we are still developing our own Christmas dinner traditions. As long as I love experimenting and the rest of the family do not mind of my experiments, every year we have a different menu. The only dish which appears on our festive table each year is traditional Polish borscht with stuffed dumplings. It’s the star of Christmas Eve. Check the recipe if you haven’t done it yet!
There will also be two new Christmas recipes waiting for you on the blog this week. Don’t miss my recipe of cherry sauce for meat or breakfast toasts and Christmas cake with candied fruit. I am sure you’ll like it. It will be a great pleasure for me, if you even include any of these recipes into your Christmas dinner menu.
What are your favorites on your Christmas table? I’d love to read your recipes.
